PlayCraft Pontoons isn’t just one of the big names in pontoon boats — it’s widely recognized as the originator and innovator of the performance pontoon category.  PlayCraft began pushing the concept of high-speed, high-handling pontoons in the mid-1990s by engineering what became known as the Powertoon, combining reinforced structures, lifting strakes, and powerful engines to deliver performance closer to runabouts than traditional leisure pontoons.  This approach fundamentally changed what pontoons could do and prompted the rest of the industry to follow suit with their own performance-oriented designs.  Today, PlayCraft’s lineup (including the Powertoon X-Treme and other performance-focused models) reflects decades of refinement in speed, handling, and build quality.  PlayCraft continues to be synonymous with performance-centric pontoon boats.
